As the sysadmin, I receive all the bounce messages for icelus.biz.
Between Friday, July 13, 2007, and Monday, July 16, 2007, I have
received over 5000 bounce messages, thanks to some shmuck peddling
garbage.
To the jerk who is using my name to peddle garbage, I say this: Do not ever brag about using this domain name. If I ever find out who you are, I will hunt you down, and make sure you spend a good deal of time in the hospital. And I don't promise to keep you out of the morgue. I'm furious with you.
To the rest: I'm sorry you're receiving emails from our domain, but you are not receiving them from us. Our email server is mail.icelus.biz, and its IP address is 70.90.14.154. Search the headers, and you won't find that name or address in there. To the best of my ability to determine, we are not an open relay, and we have not been hacked.
I used to think the anti-spam vigilantes might go too far from time to time. Not anymore. I now think they don't go far enough. Amazing what 5000+ emails into your inbox will do to your opinion. To the anti-spam crowd, I offer this: If there's anything I can do to help, I will. But I will check you over first. I will not take the chance of helping out one of the scum.
